The Association Lusitânia 100 joins private and public entities and common individuals to unite Portugal, Cape Verde and Brazil, in the bi-centenary of Brazil’s Independence.

Replicating the spirit of the 1922 voyage, the Association Lusitânia 100 develops 3 lines of action

• Cultural Programme – with cultural and pedagogical dissemination actions, to educate and inspire new generations.
• Technical Programme – with the project and construction of a flying replica of one of the planes of the Crossing;
• Operational Programme – with flight actions and recreation of the 1922 Crossing, at some points of the original journey.
