In the majestic setting of the Galleots Pavilion, at the Museu de Marinha, in Lisbon, the President of the Portuguese Republic took the floor, accompanied by the hydroplane “Santa Cruz”:
– The Chief of Staff of the Portuguese Navy, Admiral Gouveia e Melo,
– The Chief of Staff of the Portuguese Air Force, Lieutenant General Pilot Airman Rafael Martins
– The Assessor of the Historical-Naval Commission of the Portuguese Air Force, Lieutenant General Mimoso e Carvalho, who presented the conference “Knowledge, instruments and hydroplanes, symbols of an unforgettable mission”;
