The 8 boats of the Lusitânia Naval Expedition (organized by the David Melgueiro Association and the ANC – National Cruise Ship Association) were presented to the public, on the 26th and 27th of March 2022, at the docks of Oeiras Marina.
On the 27th, in a simple ceremony, the 7 boats were blessed by the Navy Chaplain (the 8th boat was already in Cape Verde). A large public attended these ceremonies. It was brightened up with a musical moment.
This was followed by an afternoon of conviviality between the crews and the public.
