The David Melgueiro Association (ADM) https://davidmelgueiro.org/noticia/expedicao-lusitania/ , in partnership with the National Association of Cruisers (ANC), will realize the “Lusitânia Expedition” with the intention to homage the national heroes Sacadura Cabral and Gago Coutinho in the centenary of the aerial crossing of the South Atlantic, remaking the same trip by sea, aboard ten sailing boats, whose owners are members of the associations.
The project was presented in Lisbon, at the Museu de Marinha, Pavilhão das Galeotas, on 2022-02-10.
The ADM sailing boats will count in their crews, with students that took part in the project “Navegar”, course of sailing cruising for adults, prepared and trained by the Cap. José Mesquita
