Ricardo Reis

He is the treasurer and responsible for the Technical Project. Ricardo Reis has been involved in outreach activities on aviation, engineering and technical history from an early age.

He is an aerospace engineer, having a PhD in mechanical engineering (turbulence and high performance computing), works today as technical leader in the engineering centre of a reference aeronautical OEM in Portugal and writes about aviation history in TAP’s in-flight magazine, Up.

For this project he brings, besides his professional experience, his experience as a volunteer in aircraft restoration (Aero Fénix and Vintage Aeroclub), and community promotion, acquired while president of Rádio Zero, representative in the international network Radia and producer of several editions of the international radio art biennale RadiaLx and the event Yuri’s Night.
